As with other undertakings, you will get what you want if you develop the passion in you. You cannot enjoy the benefits of the art if you are not passionate about spirituality and mysteries of life. You will develop the passion in you if you put your heart into the practice. Practicing the art with little interest about the subject yields a frustrating result. So, in order to get the most of it, you must develop a full sense of passion and dedication towards the art. Have the discipline that the art of meditation necessitates, for great rewards.
